It is very energy efficient to recycle polypropylene. Pound for pound it takes approximately 10% of the resources to recycle plastic as it does to create from raw materials.
However, recycling your old polyprops yourselves isn’t that straightforward as most councils only collect food containers. So, if you return your clean old polyprops to us through the post, or give them to us at an event or market, we will make sure that they get recycled properly.
Once you’ve worn them out (and this will take YEARS and YEARS!), put them in an old envelope (you could even use an envelope recycling labels like these!) and send them back to us 2nd class.
Income that we generate from our recycling programme is given to charity. Please contact us if you have any suggestions!
